The company was established by Shane Ralph in 1990 and has grown to be one of the most well-known decorative arts, conservation, painting and training studios in Ireland. Shane undertook formal decorative arts training at Atelier Nadai under the instruction of Master Artisan Michel Nadai (master craftsman of France). Shane is a Fellow of the Faculty of Decretive painting (FFD) and a Member of The Scottish Association of Painting Craft Teachers (MSAPCT) and winner of The David B Campbell Trophy in 2017. Shane and his small team are a group of professional Decorative Artists and conservation Specialists, trained in a variety of decorative and restorative techniques along with conservation disciplines, that include but are not limited to: gilding; specialist paper/fabric hanging; decorative painting; signwriting; paint restoration; wood graining; marbling; trompe l'oeil; stone blocking; wood special effects; traditional painting and decoration; distressed effects and mural painting.
