Tuesday 29th January - ‘A Catholic College for a Catholic People’ with Pat Watson

Pat will talk on the development of St Patrick's College Maynooth from its Georgian beginnings through the Gothic development of Pugin to the College chapel and spire and up to the present day. Pat Watson is author of The College Chapel, Maynooth. She lives in Maynooth and taught History at St Wolstan’s Secondary School in Celbridge for over 35 years. In collaboration with the Visitors' Centre there, Pat has recently written a tourist booklet on the College Chapel. City Assembly House, 58 South William Street
