The Irish Georgian Society requests the pleasure of your company for cocktails at the American Irish Historical Society, where we will be joined by Robert O'Byrne for the launch of his new book, The Irish Country House: A New Vision.

Robert's new book is an exploration of some of the most captivating and unusual interiors in Ireland. Whether in the transformation of a derelict estate, the preservation of an historic hunting lodge, or the re-creation of a Gothic fantasy, each of the homes in this extraordinary book reflects a renewed vitality in the contemporary approach to Irish country houses

The evening will commence with a reception at 5.30pm, followed by a talk at 6pm.
