Decorative Dublin and its Victorian Details - Victorian Dublin Revealed

The third lecture of our Victorian Dublin Revealed series allows for a closer look at some of the decorative details from Victorian Dublin. Peter Pearson is an artist, conservationist and author of Decorative Dublin (2002); The Heart of Dublin (2000); and Dublin Victorian Houses (1999) with Mary Daly and Mona Hearn.


This lecture will take place on Tuesday, 15th October at 6.30pm at the Irish Georgian Society’s City Assembly House, 58 South William Street, Dublin 2. Doors open at 6.00 pm.

Victorian Dublin Revealed: a celebration of the city’s 19th-century architectural legacy, an evening lecture series - Presented by the Irish Georgian Society and Dublin City Council’s Heritage Office and delivered by established academics, authors and conservationist, the lectures will celebrate the rich architectural legacy of the Victorians. The series will delve into the built heritage of the 19th century Dublin, examining its domestic, ecclesiastical, commercial, philanthropic, cultural and infrastructural architecture.
