In conversation with Catherine FitzGerald, noted garden designer and consultant, Glin Castle, Co. Limerick (IGS Year of the Irish Country House Garden)
Speakers: Robert O’Byrne and Catherine FitzGerald
Date: Friday, September 10
Garden designer Catherine FitzGerald was chosen by Prince Charles to take charge of the gardens at Hillsborough Castle, County Down, just one of many projects for which she has received acclaim. Catherine received her earliest training at home in Glin Castle, County Limerick, where the FitzGeralds have lived for hundreds of years. She will speak of the influence this has had on her career, and how the beautiful gardens of Glin today are the result of four successive generations of women, including her mother Olda.
This talk is pre-recorded and will be available to view for 7 days after the date it is sent out. Booking ends 24 hours before and access details will be sent by email at 3pm on the day of release.
