Lennox Cato is an antique dealer and a star of the Antiques Roadshow. Our day will commence with Dans Coaches collecting our party from Temple Underground Station at 10.00am to drive to Edenbridge in Kent for a special and intimate visit to Lennox’s shop, which is housed in a 17th-century building in the unspoilt village of Edenbridge.

On arrival coffee will be served and you will have the opportunity to browse over the outstanding items in shop which are of the highest quality and, instead of the word ‘style’ of Chippendale, items will be original Chippendale or Gillows of Lancaster. Whilst relaxing in the shop, Lennox will speak on various items of furniture of interest and explain their construction etc.

We will then have a two-course lunch at one of the splendid dining tables surrounded by fine antiques. Following the lunch we will visit an early house behind Lennox’s gallery to view Jacobean wall paintings and a short stroll to the parish church. Tickets cost £79 Member, £69 YIG and £85 Non-member.

As we are limited to 20 people for this visit, it is advisable to book early. Members will be given priority; Non-member ticket will be released two weeks before the event, should places be available.
