A walk around the entire circuit of Dublin's Medieval walls, from Temple Bar West, through Dublin Castle, Ship Street, the Liberties, Cornmarket, Cook Street and right back to the start! This tour is a brilliant rewarding way to form a mental picture of the physical and political shape of Dublin, from the Vikings in the 9th Century, through centuries of invasion, war, rebellion, fire and plague, to the eventual destruction of the majority of the walls, in the late 17th Century.
