Wednesday 18th September: Walking Tour with Arran Henderson of Dublin Decoded ‘Dublin’s ancient and vanished parish churches’

On this walking tour we will locate the sites of now-vanished parish churches, like Saint Olave’s and Saint John the Evangelist, as well as former medieval monasteries. We will also contemplate the exteriors of two great medieval cathedrals, Christ Church, and Saint Patrick’s.

Meet at 11.15am with tour departing at 11.30am outside The Gutter Bookshop, corner of Essex Street and Cow Lane (Temple Bar-west), D2. Walking tours last approx. 1.5/2hrs but may run over.
