Byron Fry invites Young Irish Georgians to a drinks party themed "Lord Byron's Travels" at his residence in Parsons Green on the 27th June between 7pm - 9pm. The address will be provided to guests closer to the date.
The evening will raise funds for the restoration of lost decoration to the interior of St Kevin's Church, Harrington Street, Dublin. St Kevin's was designed by E. W. Pugin, the eldest son of the famous Augustus Pugin who was credited with designing the interior of the Palace of Westminster. The church is significant in Dublin for its stained glass windows and stone carvings dating back to its completion in 1872.
There will also be a raffle on the evening with articles relating to Byron's Grand Tour as prizes. One raffle ticket will be included in the the ticket price and additional raffle tickets will be available for cash purchase on the night.
Tickets are limited in number so book early to avoid disappointment! Non-members are also welcome.
